What the heck is magnetic eyeliner & lashes?
So when I was younger, I was OBSESSED with lash extensions! I’m talking BIG dramatic lashes. Yep, I was that girl. I eventually grew out of my obsession with lashes & broke up with lash tech (that was the hardest part because she was super lovely). But it wasn’t because I didn’t like the way they looked, I just needed something more flexible, more cost-efficient and less time-consuming. Goodbye fortnightly infills! Okay, so what are magnetic lashes?
So a few years ago, the beauty industry introduced a new way of doing lashes. Sandwiching your natural lashes with strip lashes that had magnets on them. And it failed! The concept was cool, but in practice, they felt heavy on our natural lashes and irritated our eyes.
The industry then iterated on the idea. Wait a sec.. What if the lash could magnetise to our eyeliner? 👀😱
Could it be done? Yes it could!
Using ingredients that are typically found in mascara, they found a way to develop a safe magnetic eyeliner with absolutely no heavy metals or parabens! 🥳
The lash game had changed! All of sudden, girls who didn’t consider themselves to be good at makeup were applying false lashes like pros!
I was once again obsessed with lashes, but a new kind. A kind that allowed me to easily apply lashes myself and quickly change styles whenever I wanted.
How do they work?
Using the magnetic liner, like a normal eyeliner, apply as close to your natural lash line as possible. Wait till the eyeliner is about 80% dry and hold the lash up to your eye, BOOM. You are lashed up. It is seriously that easy.
